The Village of Stronghurst has separated water service for the local church and its parsonage onto two different meters so the parsonage can be billed separately in connection with an anticipated sale, Water Superintendent Ronnie told the board on Dec. 4. Ronnie said the crews “have most of the water meters completed,” indicating field work is near completion.
The change is intended to allow the parsonage to have an independent utility bill upon sale. No specific sale date or purchaser was provided on the record; the board did not take additional action during the meeting beyond the operational update from the water department.
