County says it will keep integrating public comments and will post response matrix ahead of hearings

An attendee asked whether comments and edits to the draft EIS would still be considered after the comment period closed. Scott Chesney replied: "Yes. We are still taking comments, and we are making edits." He explained that the 30‑day statutory comment period is one step but that the county continues to integrate comments into subsequent drafts and will place a comment‑response matrix in the public record ahead of planning commission meetings.
Chesney recommended signing up on the county web pages for e‑mail notifications and said the most current documents are posted on the comprehensive plan and planning commission pages. He urged residents to submit comments through the web or by e‑mail during the upcoming weeks while the final draft is prepared for public hearings in late October and November.
