The Village of Stronghurst Board unanimously approved the minutes from its September meeting and authorized payment of the village bills during its Oct. 8 meeting. Trustee Mike Bohnenkamp moved to approve the minutes; Trustee Paige Torrance seconded the motion, which carried without opposition. Bohnenkamp subsequently moved to approve payment of the bills (seconded by Trustee Nathan Harden) and Paige Torrance moved to approve the financial statements for October (seconded by Bohnenkamp); both motions passed unanimously.
The board also set community Halloween trick-or-treat hours for Oct. 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and formally adjourned the meeting at 7:06 p.m. after Trustee Nathan Harden moved to adjourn and Trustee Amanda VanArsdale seconded. No votes were recorded as opposed or abstaining during the session.
