Zoning board unanimously approves manufactured home at 3707 Rockcrest Drive, requires brick skirting

The Winston-Salem Zoning Board of Adjustment voted unanimously on March 5 to approve Special Use Permit Z2600063, permitting a Class A manufactured home at 3707 Rockcrest Drive, subject to brick skirting.
Rory Howard told the board the proposed site plan meets RS9 setbacks (20 feet front, 20 feet left, 64.2 feet right and 101.8 feet rear) and recommended approval consistent with Forward 2045 and the South Suburban Area Plan Update. Owner Braulio Velez testified in support; no members of the public spoke in opposition.
After the public hearing the board approved the permit on a motion by Mr. Grote, seconded by Ms. Hartsfield, with a 6–0 vote. The approval requires brick skirting and staff said use-specific standards and inspections will be applied at permitting.
The owner may now pursue permitting and construction in accordance with UDO and building-code requirements.
