The minutes record a question from John Fargo of Hasbrouck Heights and a response that the densifier is housed in Ridgefield Park and that each municipality must process its own styrofoam.
Committee members also confirmed that hard-plastics recycling will take place on Oct. 24, 2026, coordinated with a paper-shredding event; SRP will submit an event form and confirm DPW awareness and storage logistics. Commissioner Portorreal is coordinating storage and DPW is preparing an area for SRP supplies.
