The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 4, 2026 approved oversight of Contract 2026-69 between Job & Family Services and Beckmoor LLC. The agreement directs Beckmoor to deliver employability skills instruction using an existing curriculum and to provide ongoing worksite support and monitoring to help place and retain Fulton County high school juniors and seniors aged roughly 16–19.
Commissioner Jeff Rupp moved to approve oversight of the agreement and Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer seconded. The board’s action was recorded as "Motion passes 3-0." The resolution authorizing oversight notes that the agreement’s terms and conditions are attached to the contract document for official record.
The contract was presented to the board by Job & Family Services; the resolution frames the effort as focused on student placement and retention rather than a direct employment guarantee. The board recorded its approval in a formal resolution and attested the action in open session.
