The Isle La Motte Selectboard opened its March 5 meeting by reorganizing for the new term and electing leadership. Joe Deller moved to elect Peter Brzozowy as chair; Pat Treckman seconded the motion and the board voted in favor. Brzozowy then moved to appoint Pat Treckman vice chair; that motion also passed.
The board approved the remaining wording of the Model Rules of Procedure after a discussion about where to post agendas during snowy conditions. During the reorganization, Vice Chair Pat Treckman said the board should "look forward on the coming year as a clean slate from which to begin, and to improve communication between Selectboard members by honoring deadlines on projects and asking for help, if needed." The Selectboard agreed to contact the Vermont League of Cities and Towns (VLCT) for clarification on posting rules and to revisit the agenda-posting locations in a future meeting.
