WOCCISD recognizes staff and Early College graduates; AALA certificates presented

Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris presented monthly recognitions, naming Steven Jones Teacher of the Month, Jasmine Echols Employee of the Month and Richellee Roberts Student of the Month during the May 19 meeting.
Jenny Morgan reported that 17 students graduated from the district's Early College High School program in 2025. Dr. Alicia Sigee presented AALA certificates to named honorees; the minutes list Desmond Bridges, Maika Turner, Carley Jones, Shelley Hickman and Katie Kornegay among the recipients (Abby Edwards was absent).
The items were presented under the superintendent's report as part of Goal 3 updates and did not require board action.
