The Village of Stronghurst Board approved routine administrative items and the 2025 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) estimate during its meeting on Jan. 6, 2025.
Trustee Amanda VanArsdale moved to approve the December meeting minutes; Trustee Paige Torrance seconded and the motion "passed unanimously," the board recorded. Trustee Mike Swisher moved to approve payment of the bills, seconded by Trustee Nathan Harden, and the board approved that motion unanimously. Trustee Nathan Harden moved to approve the December financial statements; VanArsdale seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Later in the meeting Trustee Mike Swisher moved to approve the village's 2025 MFT estimate; Trustee Nathan Harden seconded and the board approved the estimate unanimously.
The approvals were routine and required no additional discussion. The meeting record notes no roll-call vote tallies beyond the board's statement that each motion passed unanimously. The board adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
