Muroc board re-elects Matt Carter as president, sets 2025 leadership and calendar

Broc Job moved and Jeremy Caillier seconded the motion "to elect Matt Carter as President of the Governing Board for the 2025 calendar year," which the board adopted on a 4-0 vote. The board also appointed Superintendent Kevin D. Cordes as secretary and elected Broc Job as clerk for 2025 under subsequent motions that passed unanimously.
In related organizational actions, President Carter moved (seconded by Broc Job) to select Jeremy Caillier as the board’s representative and Jessica Stoltzfus as alternate to the Kern County Committee on School District Organization for 2025; that motion also passed 4-0. The board adopted a 2025 meeting calendar—regular meetings on the second Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m.—on a motion by Stoltzfus with a second from Caillier.
