The Waller Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a broad consent agenda at its March 6, 2025 meeting, voting 7-0 to carry the package with one item (5G) taken separately for individual consideration. The consent list included resignations and personnel actions; tax refunds; budget amendments; a resolution to participate in the Connect Investment Trust; and a Huntington Bank custody agreement.
The consent agenda also covered instructional and operational procurements: teacher and administrator contracts for 2025–2026; an Open Education Resources transition plan for Bluebonnet Learning instructional materials (math); and multiple RFQs/RFPs (RFQ #239–244 and RFP #246–249) to establish vendor pools for construction-related professional services, special education services, first-aid and athletic supplies, and other materials. Trustee David Kaminski moved to approve the consent agenda (excluding item 5G) and Trustee Brittany Neel seconded; the motion carried 7-0-0. Secretary Jeff Flukinger later moved to approve item 5G as amended in closed session; Trustee Bryan Lowe seconded and the motion carried 7-0-0.
