West Rusk CCISD board moves three 2026 meeting dates to avoid holidays

The specific changes the board approved were: move Jan. 19, 2026 meeting to Jan. 26, 2026 (Martin Luther King Jr. holiday), move Feb. 16, 2026 to Feb. 23, 2026 (student holiday/teacher comp day), and move Mar. 16, 2026 to Mar. 23, 2026 (scheduled bad weather day).
Board members did not record extended debate on the schedule changes and approved the motion unanimously. The revised dates will be reflected in the district's published calendar and posted as required.
