Village administrator Doug Flynn read a nine-item consent agenda that included approval of payrolls, and an accounts-payable listing “in total amount not to exceed $4,981,772.98.” The package also included a resolution to accept a Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity grant for the Americana Park Improvement Project and authorization to execute an Illinois Attorney General organized retail crime grant agreement.
Other items on the consent agenda authorized a professional services agreement with Christopher B. Burke Engineering for Phase 2 design services on the North President Street resurface program, a change order for North Brandon Drive resurfacing work, and ratification of proposals from Hartwig Mechanical LLC for emergency HVAC repairs affecting the finance and community development departments. Trustee Schmidt moved approval of the consent agenda and the motion was seconded and approved on a roll-call vote.
Mayor Giannelli thanked staff for their work; trustees likewise commended crews and emergency responders for recent storm recovery efforts that preceded the meeting.
