At the bid opening on June 3 staff reported six bidders for the Silver Lining project and recommended awarding the work to Bijoux Seward LLC, the apparent low bidder at $248,792. A trustee moved to accept the bid and a second was recorded; trustees voted in favor and staff said the contractor will have approximately 30 days to provide bonds and return a proposed contract. The action authorizes the village to begin contract finalization and gives the contractor permission to order materials and begin preparations.
