"I was asked to get some quotes for solar for our buildings to help on our power bills," a staff member said, presenting three price scenarios and asking the board whether to schedule a special meeting to take public questions and review technical details. The mayor and staff also discussed a separate drafted solar ordinance; staff said the board would hold a special board meeting to walk through the draft with the attorney and consultants before opening public comment.
