Consultants from Moran (introduced by Anne Stevenson) presented mockups for a refreshed village website and an interactive map to help highlight development sites and incentive districts. Anne Stevenson described a process of data collection, advisory group review, and coordination with the village’s webmaster to deliver content and messaging.
"We're with brand economic development. We're consulting firms specializing in economic development," Stevenson said while outlining the mockups and proposed workflow. The consultant team showed two sample tools: a straight‑down content layout and an address‑search interactive map for incentive districts.
Following the presentation, the mayor moved to approve a contract for creation of the economic development product. The mayor said the fee would be "not to exceed $18,750" with Moran/Morant Economic Development Bureau; the motion carried on a roll call. Staff said the consultants would work with the village’s website developer to integrate graphics and interactive maps once content is finalized.
