Residents urge protections for mobile‑home homeowners, call to restore Zoom access

Anne Colachitas (speaker 8), who said she conducted a two‑part homeowner survey, reported that 78% of respondents live on fixed incomes and 45% are age 75 or older; she asked the council to adopt protections in the Tri Park proposal.
Colachitas also urged the city to restore remote interactive Zoom participation to allow residents who cannot attend long meetings to participate. “Please restore Zoom participation so more homeowners can take part,” she said. A written comment read into the record by the clerk (Laurie Alderman) framed the lack of interactive Zoom access as an ADA accommodation issue and urged immediate temporary remote options while a permanent framework is developed.
