The Palos Heights City Council voted March 3 to adopt an ordinance authorizing Mayor Robert Straz to execute a Master License Agreement between the city and Delta Communications LLC, doing business as Clearwave Fiber, for use of municipal rights-of-way.
Alderman Heather Begley moved the ordinance and Alderman Dan Brennan seconded; the motion passed on a 7-0 roll call. The minutes record the vote as unanimous. Council members did not record additional detail in the minutes about the license's specific terms; the motion authorized the mayor to execute the agreement and directed staff to proceed.
The council also discussed other municipal grounds and infrastructure items during the same portion of the agenda, including park and trail work and tree services.
