During the mayoral report the mayor highlighted recent outreach events and community engagement, and raised concerns about a streaming or "Riverside amusement" tax appearing on some residents' bills. "If you are affected by this tax, whether it be streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, or apply to music such as Spotify... please contact the village so that we can work with you to address this matter," the mayor said, and asked residents to sign up for the village e-newsletter for updates.
The mayor also thanked staff and volunteers involved with Arbor Day activities and reminded the board of Little League opening day at Veterans Park. No formal action was taken; the announcement functions as a notice and an invitation to residents to report billing errors to village staff.
