Valley View ISD trustees received tokens of appreciation from administrators at a Jan. 28 special meeting, where Interim Superintendent Dr. Monica Luna led recognitions for staff and students.
Students Renata Zamudio, Robert Segura and Eli Ramirez participated in the opening ceremonies; principals Marina Leal and Miguel Puente presented Tiger Star Reader recognitions for Valley View South and WE Lucas elementary schools. Isaias Vidal, the district’s At-Risk & Safety Administrator, announced the district’s approved Q1 2025 Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant.
The recognitions were informational only; no board action was required. The presentations preceded financial and action items on the agenda.
