“ We collected over 3,000 gallons between from March to March,” a member reported, and committee notes cited a more precise figure of about 3,156 gallons in the March-to-March accounting. Members discussed options for scaling, including aerobic composting and whether a new town location could host a larger facility.
Volunteers said they had not yet seen a typical summer build-up of compost volumes and that the current volunteer team is comfortable with the workload. The council discussed whether future infrastructure (an aerobic field) would be open for town use or managed for specific beneficiaries; no decision was taken and members said the subject would return to committee work.
