Highway Superintendent Wyatt Boswell told the board the grader is in the shop and nearing completion, while Truck No. 20 still requires drive tires and a dump cylinder rebuild. Boswell reported that a new dock has been delivered and installation will begin as time allows, and that the department has received one quote for an effluent pump and expects at least one more before making a purchasing decision.
Boswell also said the town is speaking with Hybrid Building Solutions about a possible 72-foot by 100-foot high-top building with a 34-foot peak and that the DEC funding process has been started to explore grant options. Regarding water/sewer compliance, Boswell noted two SPDES tests needed to be retaken and that samples were delivered to Converse Labs the same afternoon for reanalysis.
