Prop. 400 passes in Sedona, extending alternative expenditure limitation

City Clerk Joanne Cook reported that Proposition 400, an initiative proposing an extension of the city's alternative expenditure limitation, passed in the July 21 primary election according to the canvass read at the Aug. 4 meeting.
Cook read the vote totals on the record and informed the council that, per the canvass and county certifications, the measure passed for the City of Sedona with 2,208 yes votes and 1,402 no votes. No council action was required on the measure itself during the meeting; the clerk said final materials will be posted online.
