The Jacksonville City Council voted unanimously Aug. 4 to approve an OLCC on-premises license for Little Tayo’s Pasta Company at 215 West California Street.
Owner and executive chef Jeffrey Mansfield introduced the application and Casey Colangelo (identified as family/fiancée) also spoke in support; Chief Hannum told the council he had no concerns. Staff recommended approval and several councilors praised the application as thorough and well-prepared. “This is one of the best OLCC applications I’ve seen — most detailed, complete with the menu and everything,” a councilor said during review. The council moved, seconded and completed a roll-call vote recording unanimous approval.
