The Polk County Board of Equalization approved adding a property that had been omitted from the county’s assessment roll for 2026 after the county’s abstract was submitted to the Property Tax Administrator.
Assessor Debra Krance presented the omission; Committee member Boruch moved to approve the addition and Committee member Boss seconded. The roll call vote was Boruch, aye; Boss, aye; Chairman Westring, aye. The board approved the change. The minutes state that a valuation change notice will be sent to the affected property owner.
The transcript does not include the parcel identifier or the owner’s name; the minutes record the board action and the administrative step to notify the owner but do not record additional discussion or appeals during the Aug. 4 session.
