Granite Board announces administrative appointments effective Jan. 27, 2025

The Board of Education recorded several administrative appointments that will take effect Jan. 27, 2025. The posted appointments list Sarah Fairclough as principal at Bridger Elementary; Lindsey Nield as principal at Wright Elementary; Amy Neal as assistant principal at Copper Hills and West Kearns elementary schools; and Allison Rohner as assistant principal at Plymouth and Pleasant Green elementary schools.
The board record also shows that open contracts effective July 1, 2025, were extended to a list of employees including Lee Basquin, Erin Bitner, Prema Chruthoti, Sarah LaFond, Kristin Logan, Alyssa Longstaff, Travis Mehlhoff, Ana Pendleton, Justin Pitcher, Kris Telford and Nicole Woodmansee. John Welburn introduced the newly appointed administrators and they introduced their guests. The appointment effective dates and the July 1, 2025 contract-extension date were entered into the minutes as district actions.
