Staff says Cheshire Road realignment could open after temporary signs installed

Staff said a new detour pattern will route traffic via Kittner Parkway and Stone Creek Way while the new four-way intersection is finalized and a permanent signal is installed later in the year.
Staff cautioned that some temporary measures remain unfinished: three temporary stop signs at the new four-way intersection and a temporary stop bar/paint are needed to avoid confusion and ensure safety. They also noted work near State Route 3 may require coordination with ODOT because of right-of-way constraints; staff said they will verify placement and secure any necessary approvals before opening the full alignment.
