Winona County director praises Winona High career fair; state requests follow‑up on program finances

"It was held Thursday, Feb. 26," Cardille said, adding that the board will likely adjust the public timing next year after low local employer turnout in the evening session. Cardille also said the state has contacted the agency about fall program monitoring and wants to look closer at financial processes; staff are waiting for options to schedule a meeting in March.
The remarks were delivered as part of Cardille's monthly director report and did not prompt a board vote. Staff said they will return with details after meeting with state monitors.
