Senior Planner Alicia Ransom presented the staff report describing applicants’ boundary line adjustment and a request to vacate portions of a 33‑foot and 30‑foot utility easement that run through Lots 170 and 171 in Willamette Heights Section 6. Ransom said utility comments were accommodated and public works had no objection.
"Staff recommends that the easement vacation be approved, as shown on in the exhibit map and legal description," Ransom said. After the public‑hearing period closed with no in‑person or virtual comments, Council member Kate Moran moved to pass Resolution 41‑26 and the council approved the vacation by voice vote.
The applicants agreed to dedicate replacement 10‑foot utility easements along the new property lines; staff noted paperwork for those dedications had been completed the same day. The council’s action implements staff recommendations and records the legal easement changes in the city’s files.
