He said routine maintenance continued, the town secured a rental loader while its loader was repaired, and the town scrapped a Gradall which "brought in $3,587 less $750 to truck out." Kulesza also reported the highway crew was 'losing an employee' and that one contractor’s CHIPs work was found substandard; he intends to use a different contractor for that work.
Kulesza proposed completing a portion of Lowe Road at a cost of $221,250, which would leave a remaining CHIPs balance of $42,000 for the town. The board later ratified a prior texting vote regarding the rental and repairs of the loader.
