Residents, market volunteers report successful first Farmers & Artisan Market

Supervisor Earlin Rosa opened the July 14 meeting and allowed Privilege of the Floor for a report on the town’s new market. Mrs. Angela Clapper, a market organizer, said the first Farmers & Artisan Market held July 2, 2025, "drew 10 vendors" and that several additional vendors have expressed interest in participating at future events.
Councilwoman Wendy Adams Rosa, who sits on the market committee, said the committee reviewed the July 2 event, found it went well and will discuss minor operational tweaks at upcoming meetings. She thanked Mrs. Clapper and other committee members for their efforts. The comments came during the public-comment portion of the July 14 Town Board meeting, not as part of a formal agenda vote.
