Board approves abstracts for payment, schedules budget work session; residents raise drainage and market concerns

Councilwoman MaryAnn Nelson moved and Councilwoman Wendy Adams Rosa seconded approval of abstracts for payment. The board approved: Highway Abstract DA‑09/25 vouchers 100–106 for $18,609.51; General Abstract A‑09/25 vouchers 84–95 for $3,130.74; Sewer Abstract SS‑09/25 voucher 12 for $5,207.50; and Fire Abstract SF‑09/25 voucher 7 for $12,078.89.
Board members also agreed to hold a budget work session on Oct. 15, 2025 at 5 p.m. During Privilege of the Floor resident Marge Lawston urged action on drainage and gravel washing into her driveway on Gordon Road; Superintendent Tony Kulesza said highway employees would inspect the ditches. Angela Clapper briefed the board on upcoming Farmers' and Artisan Market events.
With no further business the board adjourned at 8:37 p.m.
