Board greenlights small projects including town barn flag, millstone presentation and park improvements

Councilman William Harlow reviewed completed and planned micro-projects and the board voted to proceed with several improvements. The board unanimously approved work on the elected officials' board, the millstone presentation improvements, and installing a U.S. flag at the Town Barn for use on specific occasions. Harlow said there is currently $350 left in the micro-projects budget.
Councilwoman Wendy Adams Rosa noted that making the schoolhouse ADA-compliant and annex building work could be covered by a grant the town is pursuing. The board also noted completed items including bollards at the town barn entrance, town barn signage, and schoolhouse bulletin-board updates. Angela Clapper announced the Aug. 27 Farmers and Artesian Market will offer school supplies, and Rosa said she would draft an announcement for local newspapers.
