Franklin County commissioners voted unanimously Aug. 5 to approve the consent agenda, which included claim vouchers in the amount of $1,284,684.29 and a set of Franklin County EMS reports for May 2026.
"We will consider and approve claim vouchers in the amount of $1,284,684.29," Chair Madder said as he presented the consent items. A motion to approve the consent agenda was made and seconded; each commissioner present recorded a "yes" vote and the motion carried.
The consent package also included the commission meeting minutes for July 29, 2026, and several EMS documents: the May 2026 operational report, the May 2026 financial report, the May 2026 adjustments report, and the May 2026 collections report. No public comment was recorded on the consent items.
By approving the consent agenda as a block, the board handled routine financial and administrative items without separate debate; commissioners moved on to scheduled business after the vote.
