Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Rylott told the Board she and the superintendent met with elementary and secondary science teachers and finalized a goal to "create a culture where 'Science is a Verb'" as part of the district's science curriculum review.
Rylott said two virtual parent meetings will be held — Dec. 18, 2024 and Jan. 9, 2025, both from 3:30–4:45 p.m. — with registration via QR code that will also be distributed at the district Science Fair. Parents who cannot attend will be able to provide feedback through a survey in January. Rylott encouraged parent participation and thanked staff and the superintendent for support on the project.
