District likely to receive New York Jets/American Dairy Association grant for milk dispenser; Lifevac kits donated

Director of Athletics and Wellness Todd Gulluscio told the Board the district has experienced problems getting traditional cartons of milk delivered to the cafeteria and that the district "looks we are very likely going to receive a grant from the New York Jets through the American Dairy Association to cover the cost of a milk dispenser, reusable cups, and promotional materials centered around using the dispenser."
Gulluscio also reported that local organization Kait's Angels donated Lifevac kits "to both our school and police departments." He described Lifevac as a non-powered, non-invasive airway clearance device intended for use when current choking protocols have been followed without success. The Board expressed appreciation to Aramark, The Dairy Association, the New York Jets and Kait's Angels for their support.
