The official tally recorded 158 yes votes and 27 no votes out of 185 total ballots; the minutes say “The library proposition was declared approved.”
The meeting record shows Henry Fayne called the Special District meeting to order at 10 a.m.; Jacqueline Dunning, the District Clerk, administered poll closing at 4:00 p.m. and signed the minutes dated Oct. 26, 2024. The minutes also note that, in addition to the 2025 operating levy, a previously approved tax levy increase of $727,000 for construction-related debt service will be collected in 2025 to support payment of debt service for additions and improvements to the library building. No motions, individual vote names, or legal threshold for the proposition were specified in the minutes.
