Board schedules special district vote on library budget for Oct. 26

The board approved the request and set the special meeting for Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024; because the library is undergoing renovations, the vote will be held in the Shelter Island School conference room.
"Due to renovations at the Shelter Island Public Library, this vote will take place at the Shelter Island School Conference Room," the motion stated. The district clerk was directed to take the steps necessary to conduct the special meeting. The board approved the scheduling motion unanimously during the consent portion of the agenda.
