Council approves consent resolutions including $2.34M road rehabilitation award

By one motion the Rolling Meadows City Council approved twelve consent resolutions on April 14 after Mayor Pro-Tem Koehler invited alderpersons to remove items; none were removed except item J which staff requested be postponed. Adopted items include:
- Resolution No. 26-R-43: Authorize a five-year contract with Euna Solutions, Inc. for the city’s budget platform (item G). - Resolution No. 26-R-44 and 26-R-45: Agreements with Metropolitan Alliance of Police, Rolling Meadows Police, Chapter 264 (items H and I). - Resolution No. 26-R-48: Award to Intelligent System Services for a new fire alarm control panel and detectors at City Hall in the amount of $40,569.50 (item L). - Resolution No. 26-R-49: Professional services agreement to Christopher B. Burke, LTD. for Golf Road/Apollo Drive turn lane design in the amount of $55,304.00 (item M). - Resolution No. 26-R-50: Authorize asphalt purchases from Builders Asphalt up to $125,000.00 (item N). - Resolution No. 26-R-51: Engineering services award for 2026 road rehabilitation and library parking lot (west) for $167,450.00 (item O). - Resolution No. 26-R-52: Design services for Pump Station #4 reservoir painting not to exceed $106,308.00 (item P). - Resolution No. 26-R-53: Waive permit fees for Rolling Meadows Park District ADA improvements (item Q). - Resolution No. 26-R-54: Extend the expiration of a special use permit and variances for Plum Creek Assisted Living Expansion (item R). - Resolution No. 26-R-55: Award the 2026 Road Rehabilitation Program to Brothers Asphalt Paving, Inc. in the amount of $2,339,592.14 (item S).
Roll call on the consent resolutions was 5 ayes, 0 nays, with Alderpersons McHale and Boucher absent. Item J (Resolution No. 26-R-46) was pulled and later postponed by separate motion.
