The Sherborn Conservation Commission approved a minor modification to the Jameson Tennis/Pickleball Courts project (0 Cemetery Lane) after contractors found the originally planned configuration left insufficient space between the court fence and the adjacent baseball field. The commission determined the change was minor and approved it by a 4–0 roll call vote.
Joyce Hastings explained the revision: contractors eliminated the separation between two courts, repositioned the stone drainage trench to the courts' outside perimeter, and added a grass swale behind the trench to increase infiltration. "This change improved stormwater management by providing additional infiltration area while maintaining the same drainage connection under the courts," Hastings told the commission. The approval was recorded as a minor field change to the April 8, 2026 plan revision prepared by Alpha Survey Group.
