The board accepted three donations and publicly thanked the donors: $50 from James and Elizabeth Alseth to the Darlington High School Music Department in memory of Richard (Dick) Olds; a sound board donation to the DHS auditorium from the Pop Factory Players; and art supplies valued at $240.45 from Blick Art Materials to the DEMS Art Department. Motions to accept the donations were made by Winslow and seconded by Crist; motions carried.
On program and curriculum items the board approved the addition of an Assistant KidWind coach position and approved high school art classes as presented. The board also approved the transfer of a high school student to the Mineral Point Alternative School. Mr. Jackson presented information on Fund 80 and what it can be used for; the minutes note the presentation but do not include the handout content.
