Town accepts $200,000 Crest grant for NINJA course and authorizes procurement steps

The Town voted unanimously to accept a $200,000 Crest grant for the NINJA Recreation Course project and authorized the Town Supervisor to sign all related documents (RES#131/2026). Town Engineer Al Yager told the board the course is nearly complete and that a grand opening will be announced on the Town website.
The board also authorized use of the Onondaga County Excavation Contract under piggyback purchasing provisions (RES#132/2026) and approved a budget amendment from the General Fund Balance to cover remaining costs (RES#133/2026). The minutes show the motion language for the budget amendment; the numeric line in the minutes contains what appears to be a typographical error in the amount entered (see audit). All motions passed unanimously.
