The Granton Area School Board convened in a closed session at 5:31 p.m. Thursday under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to discuss personnel matters involving employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of public employees. The motion to convene was made by Mark Elmhorst and seconded by Jamie Elmhorst; the roll-call vote recorded one member absent and four yeas.
The board returned to open session at 6:35 p.m. after the executive session. School Board Clerk Douglas Eichten reported, "no action was taken in Executive Session." The meeting minutes record that the board took no formal personnel action during the closed portion of the meeting.
