The board approved multiple business items on Sept. 16, including a contract with Out East Therapy of New York to provide student services for the 2024–25 school year and authorization for the board president to execute the agreement.
Members also approved an amended intermunicipal agreement for student transportation with East Hampton Union Free School District (dated Sept. 16, 2024) and accepted a donation of school supplies, toys and games from Jack’s Marine valued at approximately $20,000. Administration read a thank-you statement from teacher Elizabeth Eklund recognizing donors and volunteers with Jack’s and CXR Hospitality for organizing the donation.
Board President Kathleen Lynch and Superintendent Brian Doelger acknowledged the donation during the meeting and praised community partners for their contributions.
