The Board of Education completed second readings and adopted multiple policies at the Sept. 16 meeting.
Policies adopted included #5130 (Budget Adoption), #5670 (Records Management), two new policies—#6480 (Expression of Breast Milk in the Workplace) and #7580 (Cell Phone Use)—and #6550 (Leaves of Absence). The action was taken as part of the program consent agenda (items 10.1–10.2) and carried unanimously.
Administration said the policies were reviewed by the policy committee and are intended to clarify district procedures for staff and the public.
