The Board of Education approved the personnel consent agenda on Sept. 16, accepting the superintendent's recommendations for hires, leaves and resignations.
The motion, made by Margaret Colligan and seconded by Anthony Rando, covered items 9.1–9.10 and carried unanimously. Items included home instruction appointments (Janine Mahoney and James Theinert for secondary-level home instruction at $75.10/hour), a medical leave for Special Education teacher Michelle Corbett from Sept. 11–30, 2024 (credited to FMLA), and the acceptance of resignations by Tyler Gulluscio effective Sept. 18, 2024 for employment in another district. Coach appointments included Erin Baskin as Junior High Cross-Country Coach and an additional volunteer assistant coach appointment of Matthew Dunning for varsity golf.
Board President Kathleen Lynch acknowledged the resignation and thanked Gulluscio for his service; the board also expressed appreciation for volunteers and staff stepping into roles for the school year.
