Mayor Paul Eberline opened the public forum at 6:41 p.m.; no members of the public spoke and the forum closed at 6:42 p.m. The Finance Committee and City Clerk reported that next year’s SimpleCity/GWorks license and support invoice shows a substantial increase, staff will attend a budget workshop, Park Board is reviewing a general maintenance contract for the Sports Complex, and employee open enrollment is underway.
The Public Safety Committee noted departmental CPR training scheduled this week and further discussion about a contract with Grundy County Memorial Hospital. The Public Works Committee reported continued leaf pickup for several weeks, winterizing work at the pool, and plans to remove additional large ash trees. Council adjourned at 6:55 p.m.; the next meeting is Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
