The Geneseo Central School District Board of Education approved its May meeting agenda, multiple sets of minutes and a bundle of consent items before moving into executive session to discuss personnel.
Chair asked the board "on the recommendation of the superintendent to approve the May '26 regular board meeting agenda," and a motion and second carried by voice vote. The board similarly approved the April 20 regular minutes and the April 27 special (BOCES) meeting minutes on consent. Later in the meeting the board approved personnel items (8.02–8.05) and business-office items (10.02–10.05) on consent, with a second and voice votes each time.
Board President delivered routine committee updates and schedule reminders, including the budget hearing on May 12 and the budget vote on May 19. Near the end of the public session, the Chair asked for and obtained a motion "to enter the executive session to discuss personnel," and the board voted to go into executive session.
