Staff replied that the reference is to promoting existing recreational opportunities with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and that Fish and Boat has no plans to change permitted uses. Perez also asked where a proposed eastern neighborhood park might be sited and was told no specific parcel has been targeted.
Another resident (speaker 9) asked about the cost of a pump station and who would pay for upgrades tied to new development; he said he had been told a set-aside was $2 million and that that figure had since become $3 million. The resident also questioned whether requiring EV-charging in new development would raise housing costs and reported that other nearby municipalities had declined similar proposals.
