The board entered closed session twice during the Feb. 4 meeting. The first closed session was under Section 8(1)(h) to consider material exempt from disclosure by state or federal statute. The motion to enter was made by Waller, supported by Grodi; the roll call vote was unanimous and the board returned to open session at 7:26 p.m.
Immediately after, the board moved into a second closed session under Section 8(1)(a) to consider dismissal, suspension, discipline, complaints or a periodic personnel evaluation if the named individual requests a closed hearing. That motion was made by Grodi and supported by Waller; roll call was unanimous. The board returned to open session at 8:11 p.m.
The minutes record the statutory citations and start/end times for both closed sessions but do not record any public action taken as a result of those sessions in open session minutes.
